A Note From The Director
It is a pleasure to welcome you to the website for Cayman
International School (CIS). CIS, an expanding and dynamic
school, provides excellent educational opportunities for
students from Nursery to Grade 12. CIS is centrally located in
Camana Bay on Grand Cayman, in a beautiful purpose built
facility with state of the art classrooms, science labs,
technology labs, library, soccer field, music, and art rooms. The
newest sports facilities include a swimming pool, tennis courts,
and basketball courts.
The mission of CIS is to provide each student the opportunity to
achieve her/his academic and personal best within a
US/International educational environment that encourages
leadership, character, and community service, actively embraces
cultural diversity, and acknowledges and accommodates the
individual needs of students.
CIS is proud of its school and students. It is a place where
students study, learn, play, and support each other. The warm
and inviting environment, caring and committed teachers, and
helpful and involved parents ensure that students are provided
an excellent education. As an authorized school for the
International Baccalaureate, CIS will present the Diploma Programme for students in Grades 11 and 12, beginning in
September 2008. CIS is preparing its students to become
tomorrow’s global leaders.
