CIS Highlights
The Early Childhood program is a play-based program. Our curriculum is student - led and child inspired.
What is learning, how does it happen, and what does it look like? No set of questions is more complex and relevant in driving the work of our school. And while simple answers don’t exist, simple frameworks that can guide our inquiry do.
The Elementary Program at Cayman International School applies a challenging and integrated academic curriculum to provide students with a sound foundation for future learning and to prepare them to be responsible, productive citizens in a rapidly changing world.
At CIS we believe our student-athletes learn a great deal by participating in interscholastic athletics. Our athletics programming is all-encompassing as we offer learning opportunities to supplement our curricular Physical Education (PE) programming from Early Childhood right on through to graduation.
The Arts are considered an integral part of student learning here at CIS, and students are encouraged to explore their natural interest and potential in a range of creative experiences.
Using our Learning and Community Principles as the guide, our programs, classes, and interactions with children reflect a commitment to the whole child. Students of middle school age are in an extremely important developmental stage of their lives.
Community service & service learning at CIS have many parts, but just one goal: to build a caring community of compassionate learners. At CIS, all children are taught very early to look out for one another and to care about the world in which we live.
The High School at Cayman International School consists of grades 9 to 12. The curriculum is based on American and International standards and is designed to prepare students for entrance into colleges or universities around the world.
