family school association

What is the FSA?

The Cayman International School Family School Association (“CIS FSA” or “FSA”) supports the CIS community through volunteer work for the school.

FSA Objectives

The FSA’s primary objective is community building by fostering a partnership between home and school. It serves all sections of the school: Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School. The FSA seeks to reinforce the community principles of CIS, support the link between home and school, create opportunities to meet other families and teachers, and create opportunities for discussion and idea sharing.

The FSA is not a forum to receive or administer complaints against CIS staff, students, or other CIS families, or does it have the authority to institute changes in the internal organization and operation of the CIS.

Family Representatives

If you are interested in volunteering or being a family representative please e-mail FSA@cis.ky. Selection of family representatives will be made in September by the Principals in accordance with the FSA Charter.

All FSA Members are encouraged to attend ordinary meetings. The agenda and previous meeting’s minutes will be sent/published the Friday before a meeting.
