Welcome to early childhood
The Early Childhood program is a play-based program. Our curriculum is student - led and child inspired. Early Childhood teachers observe the interests of students and design learning opportunities based on those interests.
Through the research based HighScope curriculum our Early Childhood teachers support student growth in the social-emotional, language, math, science, and social studies literacies.
We believe that learning is best done in partnership between school and home. In the early years this partnership is especially important as teachers and parents/guardians share with one another the experiences of our youngest learners. This communication helps to gain a holistic understanding of each child and their unique needs.
